Less than 60g of Filament - The Ultimate Bambu Lab Refill Masterspool

Press-fit Spool design to fit Bambu Labs Filament refills with option to add zip ties for additional security!

Designed to be ultra lightweight but also quite strong - the ultimate Bambu Lab Masterspool, so you have more of your precious Filament left for actual prints! This Masterspool comes in two versions:

AMS Compatible 200mm Version

• 62g - the lightest you will find
• dimensions are compatible with Bambu Labs AMS & AMS lite

Even less Filament 180mm Version

• 55g - even lighter
• simensions are compatible with only Bambu Labs AMS Lite

Printing Instructions

If you do not use the prepared Bambustudio files, proceed as followed:

1. Load your desired “Spool XXXmm” file
2. 0.2mm Layerheight, 10% Honeycomb infill
3. “load” a modifier to the part → select the according “Honeycomb Modifier XXXmm” version
4. Change modifier settings to: 0 solid top & bottom layers → 0 walls
5. Add cylindrical modifier to the center → change x-y-dimensions to 81mm each
6. Change cylindrical modifier settings to rectilinear infill

Assembly

1. Push both Spool halves onto the refill - pay attention to the proper alignment of the slots
2. Both spool parts have 6 neighboring slots that are slightly embedded
3. Use cable ties in these embedded slots to secure both sides from falling apart (alternatively you could also use some wire or string or even shoe laces)
   1. If you do not plan on using any AMS, proceed with 4.
   2. If you plan on using any AMS, make sure to place the cable tie end on the inside, so nothing will stick out to the sides of the spool. This is the reason these slots are slightly embedded. For reference see the images!
4. ensure a tight fit of the cable ties (or whatever) - not too tight though, you do not want to break or warp the spool parts.
