Pegscape - AMS Lite Mount

Note: This collection fits pegboards 3/16 inches thick with 1/4 inch holes on 1 inch centers.  This is what you'll commonly find at home improvement stores (at least in North America).

Save some desk space by getting that AMS lite off the table and onto the pegboard!  Designed for strength while still being easily removed from the pegboard when needed. 

A Couple of Things to Note

1. The pegs for this mount are different from the standard pegs that go with the rest of the Pegscape system!
2. You'll want to get an extra set of screws to fully secure the AMS Lite to the mounting brackets.  You can just use the four that came with the unit, but I used an extra four to be more secure.  There's a link at the bottom to Maker Supply if you need it.

Will it hold? 

Of course!  The total weight of a fully loaded AMS Lite is just over 5.5 kilos.  This pegboard attachment spreads that weight over 15 peg holes so each peg needs to support just 0.35 kilos or around 0.8 lbs.  Assuming your pegboard is attached properly, this isn't going anywhere.

The unit is locked in place once attached to the pegboard by a locking pin so it can't accidentally get knocked out.  At the same time, removing the pin makes it easy to take off when desired.

What to print

You'll need two of the “pegs for left and center” peg.  Other than that, just one of each.

Printing Tips

For the pegs: 5 walls, 10% adaptive cubic infill

For everything else: 4 walls, 10% adaptive cubic infill
