I needed a rope serving machine to do servings and seizings for model ships so i made this.
it can be build as hand cranked or powered by an electric motor.
 

non printed items needed:
6 bearings 5x11x4 mm
4 washers 5mm id.
2 alligator clamps
4-5 small wood screws to fix the sides to a base
a wooden base
5mm brass tubing, length to your liking.

the holes in the gears are 5,2mm to fit my brass rod and printer, if this is to big for you i guess i can upload a set of gears with nominal 5mm diameter id
