This tire tread depth gauge can be printed in place. I designed it so that it stays in place when you finish your measurement. Just slide out the pin and press it in the tread of the tire, then remove the tool and read the depth of your tire.
This print also works in a single color. If the slider seem a little stuck after printing, bending the tool a little will help getting it loose.
- Red: it is time to replace the tire
- Yellow: it is almost time to replace the tire
- Green: don't worry
You can put the tool on a keychain. :-)
