Since I made a lot of threaded eggs in the past, I thought some of you were interested in a parametric version where you can create exactly the egg you want.

Why is this special and why not just scale an existing egg up oder down?

-→ if you just scale an existing model up or down, you also scale the tolerances. So if you scale it down the thread will get very tight, if you scale it up it becomes loose. With this designer you always get perfect threads, vor every size.

You can customise:

• wall thickness
• diameter
• scaling of the egg in z direction (turning it from a threaded ball into an egg)
• thread height
• cut height from the buttom to stand properly

Please note that the private license also applies to the code and the customizer, so no uploads, remixes from models created with this customiser nor the usage of the code for other project is allowed.

Printing

Printing should be easy, only thing I suggest is arachne wall mode especially on small eggs. If you want them perfect from the inside, you should generate support for the upper part. For me it always worked to print without support and having a bit of stings on the inside top part.
