I wanted a real wood like Android Bot, so i applied a texture and used some post processing to being out the wood like grain in the texture. The smaller bots were initially printed in a solid color, then treated with paint or stain and sanded to create a faux wood grain effect. The larger figure was printed directly using Bamboo PLA Wood filament, requiring only light sanding to enhance its inherent wood-like texture.

Wood Stain was Rustoleum wood (early american).

PLA green model was black acrylic paint.

Sand paper 240 grit

The sizes in the photos are scaled at 100%, 125%, and 200% respectively.
