A few people have mentioned that the clearance between the gears and their axle is too tight. I’ve published a tolerance tester and a print profile with increased clearance. The tolerance tester is quick to print and lets you immediately see which model fits your printer better.

Assembly Instructions

Everything you need to assemble this stand is available in the Maker’s Beginner Kit. You’ll need: ✔ 2 rubber bands
✔ 3 BT3x8 SHCS screws
✔ A bit of glue

Step 1: Install the gears
Place the gears in their designated spots on the base. Secure them using the screws and washers from the kit.

Step 2: Attach the egg holder
Glue the bottom part of the egg holder and the knob securely onto the stand.

Step 3: Secure the upper holder
Press the top part of the egg holder onto its arm and fit the arm into place.

Step 4: Add the rubber bands
Finally, hook the rubber bands into their loops to add tension and smooth movement.
