Shape Clash: The Balance Challenge

Description:

Shape Clash is a game of skill and strategy where players must stack the various geometric shapes shown in the image to build the tallest and most stable tower possible. Each shape has unique characteristics that affect the stability of the structure. The player who makes the tower collapse loses the game!

Basic Rules:

1. Choosing a shape: The player can select any available piece, but once touched, it must be placed.
2. Placement: Pieces must be stacked without glue or external supports.
3. Collapse: If the tower falls during a player's turn, that player immediately loses the game. If the tower remains standing the turn moves to the next player. 
4. However, if the tower collapses at least 30 seconds after the last move, the game is considered void and must be restarted from the beginning.

5. Child Rule: "Second Course" - Double Starting Spaces
   To make the game easier, especially for younger players, you can introduce the "Second Course" rule. Players starts with one extra space to place first pieces. This gives more room to build the base of the tower, reducing the risk of collapse early in the game. It's a great way to help kids get the hang of the stacking mechanics without too much pressure!

   

Objective:

Keep the tower stable for as long as possible, challenging gravity and geometric logic. The winner is the last player to place a piece without causing the tower to fall.
