The original Solder Scroll by @victordesigns is an awesome design and has been downloaded >35k times. However there is always room for slight improvements.
This remix adds a Luer Lock thread at the tip so a dispenser needle can utilized to increase precision when soldering small parts. The dispenser needle also allows for soldering in smaller spaces, and increases visibility because the dispenser needle is only a fraction of the size of the main body. Because the needle is stainless steel, it will not melt or deform from the soldering iron, unlike the original plastic boddy.
These Luer lock dispenser needles only cost $8.00 and come with 66 straight needles in various sizes, so solder diameters are not restricted (I do not recommend using the bent elbow needle as the solder may get stuck). Any Lur Lock style dispenser needle should work. I use the light green 18 gauge needle with this .6 mm solder and it fits nicely. (affiliate links)

I have been using this design for 2 months with no major issues. One minor item is that the solder may occasionally melt into a ball at the needle tip and may get slightly stuck (wont push out using rollers). This is easily solved by gently pulling on the solder to dislodge it. To prevent the issue from occurring, simply don't solder directly at the needle tip, leave it extend by >2mm and it works perfectly!
No supports are needed for this Remix. The other parts of the Solder scroll have not been changed and should be downloaded from the original model.
Installation is as simple as screwing it on. I usually run the solder thru the needle before screwing the needle on to make it easier.
