Excited to share a project I recently wrapped up—custom-designed and 3D printed tree protectors to help safeguard young saplings from lawn equipment, animals, and harsh weather!

Each protector is lightweight, reusable, and made to snap around the base of a small tree without harming the bark. 106mm in diameter, 3mm wall thickness and 125mm tall. It is 100mm tall from the bottom of the base to the top.

These were printed with black PETG for durability and UV resistance, making them ideal for outdoor use. No tools needed for installation—just snap and go!

Why I made this: I noticed some of the new trees around our yard and neighborhood were getting damaged, so I wanted to create a simple, affordable solution that anyone with a 3D printer could replicate.
