Usage

1. Pistachios have two sides, one with a gap and the other with a quill.
2. The plier has a groove to hold the quill and a nib to enter the gap.
3. When pressing together the pistachio shell bend open and releases the kernel.
4. It is possible that the thin coat or skin (testa) is preventing it from falling out so a little nudge helps to free.
