Descrição
Bring nature closer with this clever 3D-printed bird feeder, designed to house an Amazon Blink Wi-Fi camera! Every time a feathered friend stops by for a snack, your camera captures a photo and records a video — automatically! Perfect for bird lovers who want to keep an eye on their garden visitors from anywhere.

The design features a convenient top lid with a handle, making refills quick and mess-free. Printing is super simple—no supports required! Just make sure to use weather-resistant materials for outdoor use. I printed the main structure in PETG HF for durability, and used translucent PETG for the CamMount and BackWindow so you can peek inside and see when seeds are running low 🌱.
The camera I'm using is an Amazon Blink Outdoor v3, but it would work with the v4 too. If you have a different cam just tell me what kind of exact cam you have and I would like to create the specific mount.
Perch options
From the feedback, I noticed someone asking for a better way to keep our feathered friends in focus on camera — and I listened! I’ve added a new type of perch: the External Perch. Unlike the previous one, this perch sits outside the feeder like a little balcony. This means birds will be positioned about 5 cm farther from the lens, giving you sharper shots and more space for your seeds. And of course, it’s available with or without the mini pond.

Supported cam (with specific mount, check Extra print profile):
- Amazon Blink v3 & v4
- Amazon Blink XT2
- Amazon Blink Mini 2
- Amazon Ring
- Wyze Cam
- Eufy 2C
- TPLink Tapo C113
- TPLink Tapo C100
- TPLink Tapo C120
- Reolink Argus PRO
- Reolink Argus 3 Ultra
- ESP32 Cam
Assembly is a breeze thanks to a perfectly interlocking design. Just make sure to choose your installation method before putting it together — it’ll make the process even easier:
- Placing it on a flat surface? Seal the bottom and back holes with tape or bolts.
- Mounting it on a pole? Use 4x M4x12mm screws and nuts to secure it underneath, and don’t forget to close the two back holes.
- Hanging it on a wall or fence? Use two countersunk wood or wall screws in the rear holes, and seal the four holes at the bottom.
Final assembly steps:
- Insert the Blink camera from the back into the CamMount (important!).
- Slide the CamMount and BackWindow into the base. (if you don't want to use a cam print instead the FrontWindow and slide it)
- Snap the roof onto the top of the base.
- Insert the pedestal into its slots.
- Attach the handle to the roof lid using 2x M3x6mm screws.

That’s it! Open the lid, fill it with your favorite birdseed mix, place it in your garden, and get ready to meet your new feathered neighbors 🐤💚
A very kind guy made this video to guide you through assembling — and even customizing — my smart bird feeder. Enjoy it!
