After being introduced to cribbage recently, I printed another designer’s board.  It was ok, but since I don’t have an AMS, I was not able to print colored paths.  It also was missing the starting and ending holes.  Unfortunately the designer did not have access to change it, so I designed this board from scratch specifically designed for those of us without an AMS – or wanting to save filament with entire layers with one color.  I also designed it to be printed without supports since they were almost impossible to remove cleanly.  The result of half a dozen test prints is a foldable board that holds cards and pegs when closed, 8mm x 2mm embedded magnets to hold it closed and 4 separate layers of color.  There are “dotted lines” between the holes for the colors allowing it to be printed upside down without supports.  Since this is from scratch, if anyone wants changes, I can do it for you pretty quickly.  Since there are a lot of settings that have been adjusted to get this to print well, this is being offered exclusively through MakerWorld.  I printed mine with a white top layer (.8mm thick), a black second layer (.6mm thick), a red third layer .8mm thick with the rest being the same white as the top.  There are pauses for each color change as well as when it is time to insert the 8x2mm magnets.  Remember to be sure that the magnets attract to each other when the board is closed.  The hinge prints quite tightly so it takes a little bit of effort to get it moving, but it goes smoothly after it is opened and closed a few times.  I used PETG for my board, but any filament should work – just remember to change the filament type.  The pauses for first and second layer must stay where they are (layer 5 and 8) unless you ask me for a redesign. The third pause is at layer 12 since my red was a little opaque which is why I did 4 layers deep for that.  You can also set that pause to as small as layer 11 or lager if needed.  The pause at layer 71 is needed for the magnets or you can remove that if you do not want them. The size when it is closed is 92mm (3.5”) x 117mm (4.5”)  x 31mm (1.125”).  When open, it is 235mm (9.25”) long and 15mm (5/8”) high. I hope you enjoy this and wish you much luck pegging!
