WARNING:  This is a 3D printed knife, meant for LIGHT DUTY work. Please use with caution. I will be updating this print in a few days to include a version that accepts a metal screw rivet for the pivot, which drastically increases safety.

Magnets are not required for this print, however to get the “full experience” you will need FIVE 6x2mm magnets.  These are the ones I purchased for the knife (Affiliate Link) [https://amzn.to/3FzRtBj](https://amzn.to/3FzRtBj). Please see video on how to install the magnets the proper way!

You will need a THICK superglue for this print. You CAN use a thin super glue, but it will be harder to assemble. It's extremely important that the pivot pin/sleeve is glued in fully and properly to make sure it works correctly and safely. 

Improvements from Version 3.0

1. Improved pivoting/locking mechanism
2. Improved blade locking/releasing mechanism
3. Thicker/stronger pivot pin & sleeve (still the weakest part of the print - see video)
4. Added a positive locking tab so the knife can't open accidentally. 
5. Added the option for a keychain loop or a belt clip
6. Magnets are installed with opposite polarization to give a nice release and click when opening and close the knife (see video)

This knife has been optimized for PETG-HF.  The blade holder has a “spring” that works best printed in PETG.  

PLA shrinks less than PETG, so you may have tolerance issues if you print with it. To make this knife safe, I had to make the tolerances really tight.  If you have tolerance issues, please message me, and I can try to remedy those for you!

I have used just standard utility blades that you can get from any hardware store. I am in the USA, so I cannot guarantee utility blades from other countries will fit.
