This is one of three dragon eggs I have modeled, and the first I am sharing publicly. I am still new to 3D modeling and printing, so this is not perfect, and does misalign when locked in wrong. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until I had finalized the model. It's not super noticeable, but I know some people are particular about this. So, I figured I would disclose that here, and you can decide if you want to proceed.

The angles of the scales make support unnecessary for the outside of the egg. I do recommend supports for the inside and the bottom rim  of the egg top. I also prefer to use tree supports for the interlocking grooves or brackets(?) of the egg bottom to avoid drooping and stringing.

I have printed this egg in a couple different sizes. It does size down pretty well, but be aware that the smaller it is, the thinner the rim and grooves will become. Thus making them weaker and more susceptible to breaking.

As I have stated before, I am still new to this whole 3D modeling and printing thing, so if anything comes up with my models, feel free to let me know.
