Description
My first upload so go easy on me! :)
I bought one of those hex light kits from Amazon. These are usually installed in a garage, but I wanted them in my maker space. After installation, I discovered they were WAY too bright and not dimmable. So I designed and printed these covers, and the work perfectly. I just used white, but they can be printed in any color depending on the look you're going for. There are flexible enough to just snap onto the light.
PLA at 28mm layer height is perfectly fine for these. Each section is 185mm which covered half of light section. You will need two per “side” so 12 total to do an entire hexagon light. Make sure to measure your lights and scale the model accordingly.
