This is a mount for a sony bluetooth remote to remotely trigger your sony camera for time-lapse videos. Here's the remote I modeled it around [https://amzn.to/4kOfrJe.](https://amzn.to/4kOfrJe.) Remote works with Sony VZ-E10, Sony ZV-1, ZV-1 II, ZV-1F, ZV-E10, A7C, A6100, A6400, A6600, A6700, RX100 VII, RX0 II, A7 III, and other models.
For this to work you'll need to enable and use the smooth timelapse function of the printer, so you'll end up with a video from the printer too. This is needed do the head is sent to the back of the printer so it can press and trigger the bluetooth remote. It doesn't interfere with the printhead at all though,
NOTE: depending on how long each layer takes the remote could time-out. I'm not sure when the exact time is, thinks it's a few minutes. So far it's worked great for me, but I haven't done any really large prints yet
Print it in PETG (PLA will be too stiff). You can see in the pic how it's mounted to the printer, just reuses a screw in the back on the frame. Use a little sticky velcro on the back of the remote to keep it from sliding around. I'd recommend setting the camera to a large aperture with an external light source and setting it to manual focus. The larger the aperture (f stop), the larger the depth of field (area in focus), this makes for a crisper video. There's lots of YouTube videos showing how to take the stills and turn them into video.
