Description

This cryptex can only be opened if you know the 6 letter code. It is a variation on my previous design with 5 characters.

It is fully configurable by setting the inner ring within the letter rings, just align the notch with the letter.

There are 6 types of components:

• the outer box (the rings will be placed around this cylinder)
• 6 character spacers (these spacers are placed in between the letters)
• 1 end spacer (this is the spacer that will be placed at the closing end)
• 6 character rings
• 6 inner character rings, used for configuring the code
• the inner box (the box that slides in and out)

First place a spacer ring on the outer box. Then configure a character by inserting a character ring in it, with the notch matching the character needed. Repeat 6 times and finish off with the end spacer ring, it locks into place when you twist it.
