        Hi everyone! I’m 青鹿鸽 (also known as  @青鹿鸽&@青鹿鸽z), here to share a satisfying mechanical model! As a designer who’s won multiple 3D printing competition awards across platforms, I hope this creation will win your hearts too!  

        Recently, Makerworld adjusted Boost Token rules, and some of you might worry our work is “low-effort.” Let me clarify: While our designs are often compact, every piece—big or small—is crafted with full passion, effort, creativity, ingenuity, and craftsmanship. Every detail and adjustment reflects our pursuit of perfection. To ease your concerns, we’ll share our design journey in detail—this project is absolutely worth your Boost Token!

        各位小伙伴大家好呀,我是青鹿鸽(同名账号@青鹿鸽&@青鹿鸽z),今天带来一款解压的机械结构模型!作为多次多平台获得3D打印赛事奖项的设计师,这次的设计希望也能获得大家的喜欢~    

        近期,拓竹对助力券的规则进行了调整,可能有小伙伴会担心我们的作品属于低创,从而犹豫是否投出助力券。我们的作品,虽然大部分尺寸都不是很大,但我们想说的是,无论作品大小,我们都倾注了全部的热情、努力、创意、巧思和匠心。每一个细节,每一次调整,都是我们对完美追求的体现。同时为了打消大家的顾虑,我们将详细分享这次创作思路和过程,让大家了解这个作品的独特之处,这次的设计绝对值得你的助力券哦~

Inspiration & Challenges

This design was inspired by a clay art piece (we’re clay hobbyists too!). Sadly, we don’t know the original creator—if you have clues, please help us credit them! The clay piece used springs for its press mechanism, but we opted for mechanical keyboard switches for their tactile “click” and satisfying sound.

Problem: The switch’s travel distance is only 3.8mm, but the mushroom needs to rise 11mm. Pressing the switch wouldn’t fully reveal the mushroom.

Solution: After sleepless nights, inspiration struck—a “mechanical disadvantage” lever system! By calculating pivot points, we transformed 3.8mm of press travel into 11mm of mushroom lift. Gravity then resets the mushroom automatically.

7 Days of Obsession

From concept to final model, we spent 7 days on iterative design:

  • Precision Engineering: Optimized lever ratios for smooth motion.
  • Minimalist Assembly: Split-part design to reduce supports and printing difficulty.
  • Acoustic Tuning: Noise reduction for a crisp, clean click.
  • Hidden Mechanics: Sleek aesthetics with all mechanisms concealed.

       这个设计的灵感源自于一个石塑粘土作品,我们自己也是半个石塑粘土爱好者。但我们不知道是哪位大大的原创作品,求原创作者线索,必标注致敬!原作品是用弹簧作为按压的机械结构,刚好我手边有多的机械键盘的轴体,轴体在按压的时候会有段落感清脆的声音非常解压,所以初步定下来用轴体作为按压的结构。但随之而来的是新的问题,用游标卡尺测量,轴体按压的行程只有3.8mm左右,蘑菇的尺寸有11mm左右,并不是对等的。那么将会出现一个情况,因轴体的行程受限,按下去并不能使蘑菇完全露出。

       这个问题一度让我陷入困境,甚至连晚上睡觉时都在思考如何解决。但是灵感总是在不经意间闪现。我想到了利用“杠杆原理”中的“费力杠杆”来解决这个问题。通过费力杠杆,我们可以实现按下3.8mm的行程,却能让蘑菇升起11mm。而且,松手后,由于费力杠杆和重力的共同作用,蘑菇会自动回落。接下来,我们通过计算确定了杠杆的“支点”位置,并进行了建模。在建模过程中,我们不断对作品进行拆解、分件和设计,力求在尽可能简化打印难度、减少支撑、提高顺滑度、降低杂音、提升美观性等方面做到最好。

       整个思考、设计、建模、测试和优化过程花费了我们7天的时间,我们倾注了大量的心血和精力。希望这个作品能给大家带来更好的体验,和我们感受同样的快乐,也希望大家能够放心地投出助力券支持我们。同时,也希望审核大大能够给予公正的评价,不要误判我们的作品。谢谢大家!

Below is an illustrated tutorial with a gold coin version. (Video tutorial updating)

1. First print all the parts in the file, and you also need to prepare a mechanical keyboard switch body.

2. Take out the base and find the small notches of these two fulcrums.

2.拿出底座,找到这两个放支点的小缺口。

3. Align the two levers with the two pivot notches and put them in.

3.把两个杠杆对准这两个支点缺口放进去。

4. Take out the mechanical keyboard switch body and put it into the square groove in the middle.

4.拿出机械键盘轴体装进中间正方形凹槽内。

5. Take out the lid and find the rectangular notch underneath.

5.拿出盖子,找到下方矩形缺口。

6. Take out one of the transparent lifting components and align it with the rectangular notch to install it. (Note: 502 glue is preferred)

6.拿出透明升降组件之一,对准矩形缺口安装进去。(注:使用502胶水更佳)

7. Face up the gold coin, use 502 to stick it with the transparent component. (Note: The two small bumps of the transparent component are facing the same as the gold coin number)

7.金币正面朝上,使用502把它和透明组件粘贴起来。(注:透明组件的两个小凸起和金币数字朝向一致)

8. Put the pasted combination in the direction of the shaft body and put it at the end of the longer lever, that is, the side with the lowest lever.

8.将粘贴好的组合体朝着轴体的方向,放进杠杆较长的一端,即杠杆最低的一边。

9. Take out the combined cover, and align the end of the transparent module with the shortest end of the lever, that is, the highest part of the lever; The gold coin is aligned with the opening at the top of the "question mark"; The shaft body is aligned with the lid in the middle; The three are aligned and installed firmly into it.

9.拿出组合好的盖子,透明组件端对准杠杆的最短端,即杠杆最高处;金币对准“问号”顶部的开口处;轴体对准盖子在中间;三者对齐,用力安装进去即可。

10. The installation is successful ~ press down, the gold coin can be raised, and let go can be fallen. It will be smoother to play a few more times~
