This OpenSCAD project allows you to create customizable feet to support or elevate objects such as furniture, chairs, tables, or any structure that requires more stability or additional height.
🛠️ Customizable Parameters
This design is fully parametric, allowing you to fine-tune the following aspects:
📏 General Dimensions
• base_height – Base height (30 mm by default).
• upper_height – Upper section height (30 mm by default).
• hole_diameter – Diameter of the central hole for inserting the object’s leg (32 mm by default).
🔲 Foot Shape Selection (Round or Square)
• square_shape – If false, the foot is round; if true, it is square.
⚫ Round Foot Parameters
• round_base_diameter – Diameter of the round base (70 mm).
• round_upper_base_width – Width at the base of the upper round section (55 mm).
• round_upper_top_width – Width at the top of the upper round section (45 mm).
◼️ Square Foot Parameters
• square_base_side – Side length of the square base (70 mm).
• square_upper_base_width – Width at the base of the upper square section (47 mm).
• square_upper_top_width – Width at the top of the upper square section (45 mm).
🦷 Serrated Barbs for Grip
The inner barbs help secure the foot onto the object’s leg. These parameters allow customization:
• number_of_barbs – Number of serrated barbs for better grip (10).
• barb_thickness – Thickness of each barb (2 mm).
• barb_height – Height of each barb (20 mm).
• barb_width – Width of each barb (2 mm).
🛑 Anti-Slip Texture or Spherical Base
• apply_non_slip_texture – If true, applies a concentric circle texture to the base for better grip.
• apply_spherical_base – If true, adds a hemispherical bottom to reduce friction, making objects easier to move.

• number_of_concentric_circles – Number of concentric circles for grip (4).
• circles_depth – Groove depth (2 mm).

🛠️ Enhance Grip with Additional Materials
For even better stability, you can attach felt pads or rubber feet to the base. This is particularly useful for preventing sliding on smooth surfaces or protecting delicate floors.
📌 Printing Recommendations
• Material: PLA is sufficient, but for greater durability, use PETG or ABS.
• Infill & Walls: Adjust depending on the weight the feet will support.
• Supports: Usually not required, but may be necessary in specific cases.
🔧 Customize Your Design
Thanks to its parametric nature, this model can be adapted to any specific needs by adjusting the dimensions, base type, and grip options. If you want a tailored fit, you can modify the OpenSCAD code using the parameters listed above.
