The Modular Drawer Organizer is now available in multiple thickness options:

• v1.0.0 – Original design with ~6 mm average divider wall thickness.
• v2.0.0 – Reduced wall thickness to 4 mm, lowering filament usage by approximately 21% (example: small horizontal cutlery divider).
• v2.1.0 – Further optimized to 3 mm average wall thickness, reducing filament usage by approximately 27%compared to v1.0.0.

The only difference between versions is wall thickness. Functionality and layout compatibility remain the same.

Note: In v2.1.0, one dovetail coupling on large dividers is only 1.4 mm thick and may require a small amount of glue for secure assembly.

This Modular Drawer Organizer is a versatile and customizable solution for organizing kitchen drawers. Designed for four typical US kitchen drawer sizes, this system includes cutlery and utensil dividers of various sizes and orientations, allowing users to create the perfect drawer layout.

Key Features:

• Modular Design: Each divider features dovetail connectors, allowing seamless joining of two or more dividers in any pattern.
• Edge Covers: External dovetails are covered with edge covers for a smooth and finished look.
• Four Drawer Sizes Supported:
   - Small Drawer: 7 13/64 x 19 11/16 inches (18.3 x 50 cm)
   - Medium Drawer 1: 13 3/16 x 19 11/16 inches (33.5 x 50 cm)
   - Medium Drawer 2: 10 13/64 x 19 11/16 inches (25.9 x 50 cm)
   - Large Drawer: 22 11/64 x 19 11/16 inches (56.3 x 50 cm)
• Various Divider Sizes and Orientations:
   - Cutlery Dividers: Available in small, medium, and large sizes.
   - Utensil Dividers: Available in small and large sizes.
   - Two Orientations: Dividers can be placed horizontally or vertically in relation to the drawer’s front.
• Large Divider Printing Considerations:
   - Large dividers are split into two parts for standard FDM printer compatibility.
   - Vertical dividers are separated into top and bottom sections.
   - Horizontal dividers are separated into left and right sections.
   - Only large dividers require support during printing.

Print Profiles Provided:

Pre-configured print profiles are available for Small, Medium 1, and Large drawer sizes.
For example, the Small Drawer Print Profile requires a small horizontal cutlery divider and a large utensil divider.

Printing Instructions:

1. Print the "ModularDrawerOrganizer-Prototypes" Profile – This includes prototype layouts for all four drawer sizes and a wide selection of dividers.
2. Choose the Desired Drawer Size.
3. Arrange the Prototype Layout – Place dividers in your chosen drawer size according to your needs.
4. Identify Divider Orientation – Note whether dividers are horizontal or vertical.
5. Print the Required Dividers – Using the recommended settings below.
6. Print the Edge Covers – Ensuring a polished look.

For example the following picture shows a small drawer prototype with 1 small horizontal cutlery divider, and 1 large
vertical utensil divider.

This next picture is instead for a large drawer with 1 small horizontal cutlery dividers, 1 large vertical utensil
divider, 2 small vertical cutlery dividers, 2 large vertical cutlery dividers, and six medium vertical cutlery dividers.

Edge Covers Usage:

• Dividers should be oriented so that:
  • Female dovetails are on the bottom and left sides.
  • Male dovetails are on the top and right sides.
• Print edge covers to conceal exposed dovetails:
  • Male Edge Covers – Cover female dovetails.
  • Female Edge Covers – Cover male dovetails.
• Three Sizes Available – 1, 2, and 3-divider widths for flexible combinations.

Print Settings:

•  Supports Required – Only for large cutlery and utensil dividers.
• Wall Loops: 3
• Sparse Infill Density: 5%
• Sparse Infill Pattern: Gyroid
• Tree Support: Default tree supports for large dividers.
• Size Adjustment:
  • When printing dividers for Small or Medium drawers, scale to 103% of the original size for a better fit and minimal empty spaces.
