Hollowed out the model and added internal walls and floor. Split into 2 parts which then fit back together with studs. Allows line of sight/passage through containers, roof can be removed/replaced when needed.

It prints without supports but you can enable them (tree auto) to reinforce the overhang on the entrances. I have set a higher infill rate for the roof to avoid warping as it cools. As it needs to sit flat on top of the crate, any warping can be quite noticeable, but you can reduce this to save time and filament. Overall because of the complicated walls on more surfaces this model will use more filament relative to the closed models:
