Modelo 3D Minecraft Ender Dragon Articulated por kirimba no MakerWorld

Descrição

  • Minecraft Ender Dragon Articulated
  • Vanilla Ratio, Immersive Texture even wings!
  • Easy to build, no glue needed, just insert parts with dumbbell and hands
  • Beveled, but model could be sharp and pinching at some places, so be careful with fingers even after build!
  • Tail and neck segments are moving and 1:1 ratio as in Minecraft, all ratios are the same
  • Rotatable: Head, Chin, Legs, Knees, Feet, Tail Segments, Neck Segments, Wings Base, Wings Middle
  • No supports at all! No Overhangs or Bridges! Super efficient
  • Up-Scalable (can be increased in size). Size decreasing will not work
  • Has special holes to be hanged! Can be hanged on ropes
  • Multicolored, Efficient color-switches (except maybe the head)
  • Quite fast to print with a good success chance (should be no failures)

How to build:
1) Unlock all print-in-place parts - legs, tail/neck segments, chin

2) Insert Pipes (Sockets/Pegs) Into Legs (In whatever manner you want)

3) Insert Nose, be careful with opposite side

4) Insert Neck segments to the head - Do not hammer, just rotate and push repeatedly until all done

5) Connect Wings using Wing Peg

Do not confuse wings left-right otherwise you will lose parts - it is hard to remove inserted peg
6) Setup both combined wings to the body and see they are correctly oriented, triple-check it's correct

Do not confuse wings orientation, otherwise the dragon is broken, you will not get pegs back out of him without a mess
7) Gently insert Wing pipe into the body when Wing is inside and aligned
Do not insert peg if wing is not in the body yet - it is hard to remove peg if you push it without wing
In case you did it wrong you can use screwdriver and hammer to break and remove peg
Do not break peg, be gentle, it is fragile because printed vertical (but precise and rotates easily and smoothly)
8) Insert Second wing pipe same way as previous one
9) Insert Tail
10) Insert Neck segments (with head that should be already attached)

11) Insert Legs, Instead of hammering I recommend pushing with Dumbbell and your own weight

Be super gentle! Do it only on 90 degree
Important! Do not confuse legs (like in tutorial anti-example) otherwise you will need to take it back and it is hard

10) Done - Check all is correct and rotates

I have spent so much time (~1mouth) to do all the thing done correctly. Find all tolerances and develop best practices.

I had approximately 3 bad dragons and 2 good dragons (300% scale old version is hiden) before I made this one (200% scale).
I have concluded that 200% are the best variant - fast print, could combine many parts into one etc.
You can increase scale up to 300%, tail is the longest part.

This is for you guys!

Enjoy!
