I designed this simple Test cube to check my 3d scanners.
The idea is to print it, 3d scan it, then check the measurements in your CAD software
This will let you gauge how accurate your 3d printer and 3d scanner(s) are.
Below are some photo from my scanner.
As you can see it is very close to the correct size, given that this is a 3d printed which can change the size some.
I recommend printing in a filament that you know will not shrink like PLA
