Mac mini M4 stool stand!
This stand lifts your Mac mini M4 off up by 25mm, providing better airflow and easy access to the power button! It is designed to support the Mac mini by the mini's bottom casing to prevent any obstruction of airflow. It has a slot indented along the top to allow for a single large Command adhesive strip, with a slot on one side for the pull tab to be fed through to allow easy removal as desired.
An optional print is the alignment bracket to help center the stand accurately when applying it to the bottom of the mini!
Printing recommendations:
As my first model, the print profiles should be accurate, however as a general note I recommend:
Print the stand using 0.12 print height to reduce layer lines, 40% gyroid infill for strength.
Print the bracket using 0.2 print height to reduce print time, and 10% gyroid infill to reduce material use.
I highly recommend using PETG as an interface material for the support; this will allow for clean removal of print material for where the Command strip will sit. Printing the support with PLA should also be fine, if a bit harder to remove. The only support in the model needed is for where the strip will be.
Installation:
To install, adhere the wall side of the adhesive strip into the indent on the top of the stand, feeding the pull tab through the slot in the side of the stand. The release tab will be on the left side of the Mac mini, facing toward the USB ports. This is so that the seams of the print will be facing the back of the mini. After peeling the other side of the tape, the alignment tool, if used, is placed on the stand and mini front to back to align it properly. Press lightly, and now your stand is installed!
