This is a different version of the Turtle Climbing Platform I have created before. It is mostly the same thing as the Large Turtle Climbing Platform just with improvements. The base is the same size as what the Large Turtle Climbing Platform was. The ramp I have made is much less steep and longer to make it easier for the pets to climb up onto and I made thicker grooves into the ramp and took out the through holes on it to try to make it easier for them to climb up. I also printed the ramp with fuzzy skin enabled on the side they climb to give them more grip when trying to climb it. The big change for this version though is that, like in the name, it is modular. Both the ramp and back piece can be removed from the base to either make the back into something else or extend the ramp for other pet's needs. Both the back and the ramp both slide into the base and should just need to be held in with a friction fit. Tolerances are tight! The smallest tolerance is 0.045mm (0.002in). Everyone using this is more than welcome to make their own designs/modifications of it to suit their needs better. I have included the fusion files for easier modification.  If someone would like a modification done but doesn't know how to, let me know, I am willing to do simple modifications like the ramp angle if people need them.

Printing

Everything should be able to be printed at the same time on most printers. I printed everything on a Bambu Lab P1P (256x256x256 Build Plate). Everything that I thought would be the best way to print everything is included in the .3mf file with all the pieces together on a single build plate.  Each individual file I included does not have any of my custom modifications.

    Settings

For everything that I don't mention a custom setting for, leave it the way it is by default. All parts are at a 0.2mm layer height, 3 wall loops, 35% infill, and no supports unless specifically stated separately. I would recommend printing with your heated bed a little hotter than usually used to print to lessen the chances of any of the parts warping. I printed mine 5C hotter than normal. I would also recommend printing all the adapters the same way as in make all the adapters print in the same direction to eliminate variability in their size if your printer happens to get any of the sizes a little wrong, then all of them would be off by the same amount and it shouldn't be an issue.

    Base

• Lay on the side with grooves facing the bed

    Ramp

• Lie on the side with the indents facing vertically to the bed
• Turn on tree supports
• Add a custom cube modifier and cover all the grooves up to where it is flat and enable fuzzy skin
• Fuzzy Skin Settings: all walls, 0.4mm point distance, 0.07mm thickness

    Adapter

• Lay vertically relative to the bed
• 5 wall loops

    Back

• Put the large flat area on the bed with the adapter pieces facing vertically
• Add a custom cube modifier and cover both the adapter pieces flush with the rest of the back and set it to 5 wall loops

Assembly

Assembly is pretty straightforward. The back piece slides into the two adapter slots on the base. For the single adapter piece that gets printed, one side of it should be very slightly bigger than the other, that bigger side slots into the adapter slot in the ramp. It is made to be an extremely tight fit so it doesn't come off so it may take some force to get on, that's by design to cut down on the need for supports and reliability of printing. Once the bigger side of the adapter is in the ramp, the other side of it should slide into the other open adapter slot on the base. The ramps fit into the base should be slightly tighter than the back to make sure nothing knocks it over. All the connections should be sturdy and take a decent amount of force to attach and remove.

Turtle Climbing Platform (Non-Modular)

If you don't need the modularity of this design but like the overall idea of it. I made a non-modular version of the ramp that you can download and print for yourself. For the most part, it's the same thing. The ramp is a little steeper and on the other side of the platform. There are several different kinds of the other posting with different sizes.
