Universal Motor Stand: A Versatile Tool for Experimentation

Are you eager to tinker with small motors? Look no further! I designed this universal motor stand to accommodate various applications, from testing motors to building simple machines. Initially, I created this stand to test motors with my Arduino, but soon realized the value of a versatile design that could cater to multiple uses.

Through iterative design, I refined the stand to include several improvements, resulting in a robust and functional tool. With this motor stand, you can:

• Test all kind of small motors for various applications

• Build a simple lathe

• Develop pulley systems (requires two stands)
• Secure your Dremel for grinding, cutting …
• Experiment with propellers
• Create a generator setup (print two stands and attach motors/generators) using pulleys with belts

The stand's versatility is its greatest asset. You can fixate it from the side or bottom to any surface using screws, allowing you to secure your motor and experiment with various configurations.

It is designed to be printed with PLA, but if you expect your motor to produce much heat consider ABS or ASA (dont forget to put some brim in that case). 

Also if you have some vibration, put something between motor and stand. Idealy you can use some heat resistant cloth or just use peace of carpet or somethig like that if you don't plan to push it to the heat limits . Use this trick also if your motor is too small.

I used 2 M6 bolts and nuts and 4 washers ( You can use any smaller ones as long washers are bigger then hole - about 6.5mm )
