Banjo Bridge Square
Simple tool to help with positioning your banjo bridge. Keeps the rear edge vertical, and 90 degrees to the banjo head.
Most bridges seem to “tip” toward the back, due to an angled front edge, and I created this tool for my own use to help maintain the proper bridge alignment.
Features:
- Height set to accommodate the most common 5/8" banjo bridge height.
- Please ask if you'd like a version uploaded for a different bridge height.
- Incorporates “peep holes” to align rear edge of the bridge if needed.
- This is helpful for those of us who put a pencil mark on the banjo head to be able to easily reposition the bridge after a string change, as you can easily see the back edge of the bridge and make sure it's exactly aligned to your reference mark.
- Can also be used on the front of the bridge if needed to realign feet from that direction (which sometimes happen when moving the bridge).
- Has a center “alignment mark” to help position the square in the center of the bridge, to help align the strings to the fingerboard and tailpiece.
Would welcome any comments, thoughts and suggestions for improvement.
