Dividers for your shelves for whatever purpose.
These are thick and heavier duty, I plan on making some of these which are thinner and require less filament for simpler uses. I liked them thicker as I use them to separate my work pants which are heavier and will press against the dividers.
Used to separate and organize stacked clothing on our closet shelves.
There are 8 inch (203.2mm), 10 inch (254mm), and 12 inch (304.8mm)models with the grip being wide enough for your average 1 inch (25.4mm) board.
1 inch boards traditionally measure at .75 inches (19.05mm) thick. I designed the size to be slightly bigger than .75 inches to allow for any anomalies in sizing.
The 10 inch divider is slightly less than 10 inches in length to fit on one build plate without an awkward cut of a few mm.
For the 12 inch divider, I designed two small ‘clips’ to put at the seam between the two pieces to aid in the gluing process to keep things aligned. One of the clips is thinner than the other. The thicker clip is meant to go along the seam of the wall of the divider and the thinner one is meant to go along the seam of the base.
To secure the divider on the shelf, I recommend using something very lightweight such as museum putty or for a more semi-permanent solution you can feel free to use some 3M double sided tape.
I might recommend trying this print with the aux fan off or on a lower setting to reduce the chance of warping.
