Descrição
This is my interpretation of a Leaf Bug or Walking Leaf, made famous in the acclaimed children's (and adults) cartoon, Bluey. Your new friend will be as happy standing as it is sitting, with its simple articulated legs.
Print in place, no supports needed. The legs will need a little gentle persuasion to move on their hinge pins straight after printing. You may get a warning of floating cantilevers when you slice this model, but it will print just fine regardless.
Constructive criticism gratefully received - I'm very new to this, and this is my first model with moving parts! This has been a labour of love for the past few weeks, having been requested by my kids.
For best results, following feedback from some users that have had issues printing this model:
- Make sure your printing plate is clean. Not with ethanol or IPA, clean it thoroughly with hot, soapy water, rinse with clean water, and dry it fully with a paper towel. Fingerprints are your enemies!
- Ensure you are printing in an area with no drafts (if using a printer without an enclosure).
- If you're still having issues, consider adding a few brim ears on the legs in Bambu Studio before printing.
