This is a simple attachment for the 8BitDo Mobile Gaming Clip. It replaces the clam that holds onto your phone with a Magsafe magnet, which allows you to use the phone vertically (which is great for DS emulation) and horizontally, and is just a more elegant way of using the clip. I never liked how the clip clams onto your phone.

Features

• I designed the attachment to match the styling of the 8BitDo Pro 2, with a groove along the edge and the 8BitDo heart logo
• Same adjustability as the original clip. The part that holds the axle and connects to the arm of the clip was made from scratch (just like the rest of the model) and has the same clicky feeling when adjusting.
• I designed the attachment so it's completely flat on the side that holds the magsafe magnet. On this side it has no problems printed with no supports on my A1. 
• Compatible with every iPhone that includes Magsafe and every Android phone with the Qi2 standard (for other phones, I have added information on how to make them compatible!)
• Since all three 8BitDo's mobile gaming clip variants look to be the same, I expect them to work on the following models:
  • 8BitDo Pro 2
  • 8Bitdo Ultimate (I had no idea this one existed, but according to google it does, it just had a very limited run for some reason)
  • Xbox controllers

Items you will need

• 8BitDo Mobile Gaming Clip (obviously): I have only tested this on the Pro 2 variant, I expect it to work on the other models but if it doesn't, let me know in what way they are incompatible so I can add a variant for those. All of the variants are sold out on 8BitDo's website, but they might still be sold on a third party website, such as Aliexpress or Amazon.
• Magsafe magnet: Any cheap Magsafe magnet that comes with adhesive will generally work, as long as both the magnet and the adhesive is strong enough to hold your phone (a wall mount magnet is probably strong enough). There are ring magnets but I assume the ones that are a whole circle will adhere better (and also look better). I used one from Moment but there are also a few on Amazon that probably also work fine.
• Magsafe ring (for non-magsafe/Qi2 phones): If you don't have an iPhone with Magsafe  (any iPhones before the 12, iPhone SE, iPhone 16e) or Android phone with the Qi2 wireless charging standard built in, you will need a ring of magnets that you can stick on the back of your phone or case.
