Introducing to Makerworld this art piece inspired by the famous thought experiment of Schrodinger's Cat
Schrödinger's Cat is a famous thought experiment that demonstrates the idea in quantum physics that tiny particles can be in two states at once until they're observed. It asks you to imagine a cat in a box with a mechanism that might kill it. Until you look inside, the cat is both alive and dead simultaneously.
*** Update 8/19/2025 ***
- Added a keychain profile! Now you can take Schrodinger's Cat wherever you go! (NOTE: This print is harder to get right if your printer is not properly set up, and the skeleton is fragile and easier to break. Try printing the original one if you haven't

*** Update 5/13/2025 ***
- Added a profile to print the frame with cat and skeleton separately (print horizontally due to fragile skeleton & used flush cutters to remove supports.)

*** Update 3/29/2025 ***
- Improved support removal
- Improved bed adhesion
NOTE: Be careful when removing the tree supports, especially around the skeleton, which is quite thin and can easily break. Allow the print bed to cool down before removing the print, and use flush wire cutters to remove supports from the skeleton!
⚠️ Warning: this type of print should be taken for what it is: a true technical challenge. Support removal requires steady hands, a good magnifying glass, and nerves of steel—any small mistake can compromise the details.
