Descrição
Ever wanted to start using a new refill but all you have are almost-but-not-yet empty spools?
This is the right spool for you, then!
New! I also made a Roller Adapter for this spool. See more below!
Features
It's based on the original Bambu Spool, but resized to hold up to 400g of filament, plus some improvements.
It comes in two versions. With the grid to mimic the non-printed Bambu spools, and plain for a faster and easier print.

It comes with 8 built-in clips.

And it doesn't bend in the vacuum bags like the Bambu spools bend when they to get half empty.

Plus, it takes much less space!
Printing Considerations
It is recommended to print with a Smooth PEI Plate for a better finish, and to minimize surface artifacts, but it will print just fine in any build plate.
The spool is small enough to print both sides (and the included spacing shim) in a single 256×256 mm build plate.
A1 mini will print in two build plates. You can use the appropriate profiles for A1 mini.
It can be printed in PLA, PETG, and others, but it is recommended to print in a material suitable for drying filaments without melting the spool.
For example, print in PETG if you plan to use and dry PLA filaments; print in ABS for PETG filaments; and so on…
However, if printing with PLA, you can use PLA Basic Light Gray to have the same color as the non-printed Bambu spools. 😉
Both the grid and plain print profiles have dedicated configurations for each one to ensure a good finish. Both also have modifications by object and by layer range.
These configurations include speed adjustments to ensure the grid prints well, and switch between surface patterns to have a better finish, among others.
It is also recommended to keep the 0.2mm layer height (which starts with a 0.16mm in the first layer) to ensure that the layer range configurations are applied as expected.
Roller Adapter
I also made a Roller Adapter so you can still use this spool in an AMS or in a filament dryer.
