Seeing whales break the surface is a magical experience, especially as you consider how much more there is to these massive creatures hidden under the surface. 

I wanted to bring that sense of awe inside in a subtle and minimalistic way. So I made some super simple whale backs based off of a Humpback, to mimic the most common view we see and scaled them down to represent a mom and baby. 

Got carried away and played with a casually breaching tail that thankfully prints well with very few and very easy supports.

Really like how the Matte Charcoal PLA looks in contrast to warm wood tones.
