Whittard-Inspired Custom Tea Storage Solution

As a tea enthusiast and 3D printing hobbyist, I wanted to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing storage solution inspired by the iconic Whittard of Chelsea tea tins. This design combines practicality with a touch of elegance, perfect for fellow tea lovers who appreciate both form and function.This includes both Logo and non logo editions aswell as a threaded and unthreaded version.

Design Details

The design features two key innovations that set it apart from standard tea storage:

1. A primary outer lid that maintains the classic Whittard aesthetic while providing easy access
2. A secondary internal seal lid that ensures your tea stays fresh and aromatic

The front panel includes a dedicated space for labeling different tea varieties, making it easy to organize your collection while maintaining a cohesive look.

Printing Specifications

• Recommended layer height: 0.16mm for balanced detail and strength
• Infill: 15-20% for the main body, 100% for the lids
• Material: Food-safe PLA or PETG recommended
• Tree supports needed for main body
• Print orientation: Base flat on build plate
• THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS threaded and unthreaded , the threaded will work but as per printer parameters I will warn that you will probably have to scale up/down to get the perfect fit,I have included in the .3mf test prints so you don't waste filament.
• i recommend you print the unthreaded for ease of use

Notes on Food Safety

Please ensure you're using food-safe filament and consider applying a food-safe sealant to the internal surfaces if planning to use for direct tea storage. Alternatively, you can use this as a decorative outer container with tea stored in its original packaging inside.
