This is a remix of @cees great model! I changed the design so that you don't need glue or screws to put it together. Also I changed the ends in order to make it possible to having it to stand on the table. Also I made the opening of the inside container bigger and removed plug at the end so that it is easier to take out the contents.

There are two different model, one having a dome in both ends and the other having a flower -like ends.

I use these as a part of home made escape rooms. And also, I put inside three 2€ coins and my kid get all of them if he opens the cryptex with just one clue and every additional clue removes one coin from the award.

It is normal to have operation a bit sticky right after printing, but turn rings back and forth until rings turn easily and have individual operation separate from adjacent rings.
