Vertical Laptop & Tablet Stand – Modular
I built a device stand for my desktop a while ago, but it never really felt right. At the time, I only needed a place for my two tablets, but with Safari turning into the new Internet Explorer, I had to add an Apple test device to the mix. And, of course, my original stand was only designed for two devices. On top of that, my wife needed a stand for her notebook, and let’s just say she wasn’t impressed with my quick solution.
That meant one thing: time to do it properly.
The challenge? Getting the "wife approval factor" just right.
She’s not always thrilled with my creations and has a sharp eye for design, but she does like our remote-control holders and trays. They feature some nice accent colors and don’t look like cheap plastic. So, I knew the new device stand had to match—both in style and function—especially since our office setups don’t follow the same color scheme.

I designed the stand so each part can be printed separately, allowing for custom color choices without long print times or filament waste. The pieces click together securely but can be released if needed—handy if setups change or you just want a fresh look.

Each slot has a default width of 22mm, but I also created additional profiles for 17mm and 13mm slots in case you need different sizes.
