I designed this deckbox to provide a practical and organized way to store everything needed for a Magic: The Gathering draft event. Unlike other 3D-printed options, this box ensures that every essential component has a dedicated space, making setup and gameplay smoother.

Overall Design and Capacity

The deckbox is divided into two functional sections: Draft Mode and Play Mode. By rotating the box and opening the respective lid, you can seamlessly switch between preparing your deck and playing your matches.

Draft Mode (Top Side - Labeled "Draft")

This section is optimized for organizing cards and accessories before gameplay. It includes:

• A dedicated compartment for 100+ sleeved basic lands, making it easy to grab the mana you need.
• A slot for 100 sleeves, either loose or in a Dragon Shield sleeve box, so you can sleeve your deck immediately.
• Additional space for unused draft cards, ensuring that all selections remain together.
• A central compartment designed for small accessories like a pencil, coins, a small notepad, or additional cards.

Once drafting is complete, the lid secures everything, and the box can be rotated for Play Mode.

Play Mode (Rotated Side - Labeled "Play")

This section is designed for gameplay, keeping all necessary elements easily accessible. It features:

• A spacious compartment for the main draft deck and sideboard, ensuring organized storage.
• A dice compartment that holds around 15 dice, such as spindown life counters or D6s.
• A token storage area, accommodating 50 double-sleeved tokens or more single/unsleeved tokens.
• An additional compartment for game-related counters, including Stun, Finality, Time, or +1/+1 counters. This space can also be used for extra dice if needed.

Secure Magnetic Closure System

Each lid is held in place by 11 evenly spaced 2x2mm magnets, totaling 44 magnets if fully utilized. This design keeps the box securely closed but allows for customizable magnet placement depending on how firmly you want the seal.

Print Customization

The deckbox can be printed with or without lettering, as both plate versions are included in the profile. This allows for a personalized appearance based on user preference.
