This is an active chamber heating mod for the X1c or P1p requiring ZERO printer modifications, drilling, or wire running. I am using a ""Chitu Systems Resin 3D Printer Mini Heater"" which I will post the amazon link to at the bottom of the description. THIS LID ALLOWS ENOUGH SPACE FOR YOUR AMS TO STILL SIT ONTOP OF THE PRINTER! Essentially this is a four piece custom lid to the X1c which will replace the glass lid. You print all four corners and then connect them with the central connecting plate via a few 8mm screws. I added some silicone along all of the connecting edges as well to strengthen it.

STEPS:

1. print all parts
2. connect the four lid corners using the central connecting plate and the 8mm screws
3. USE 3mm FOAM-FOIL insulation and cut out piece to COVER THE BOTTOM OF THE LID AND THE INNER SIDES OF THE HEATER HOLDER SECTION - YOU MUST DO THIS OR YOU WILL LOSE HEAT AND THE HEATER WONT SIT SNUG. I also added the same foam-foil to the inner sides of my x1c to help retain heat.
4. put foam-foil insulation on the underside of the heater lid, but dont put insulation within the circular holder in the lid
5. place the heater into the lid and guide the wire into the notch
6. Place the lid on the heater and use the controller to set a desired max temp
7. print away!

future upgrades:

1. more space efficient heater chamber that does not use the stand of the chitu heater
2. further separation of the inflow and outflow to better circulate heat
3. modification of the chamber for more powerful heaters
4. increase rigidity of the lid with better connectors
