This Thing was designed in the frame of the BlocksCAD-Snowflake-Challenge.
BlocksCAD is a free online platform that makes it easy for students of all ages to dive right in to coding, CAD, and creating using a blocks-based interface.

Post-Printing

Carpeded floor

To use the doorstop on a carpeted floor no further rework is required.

Other surfaces

On even surfaces like tiles, wood or vinyl I recommend to add rubber stoppers or corc on the underside of the part to avoid sliding.

How I Designed This

Idea

After designing the first "basic" snowflake using BolocsCAD I thought about what a practical use of an snowflake shaped part could be. So I came to the idea of an snowflake shaped doorstop. It is perfectly combining functionality and design.
