Descrição
This is a multi-function climbing grip/finger strength trainer.
**The strength of 3D prints can vary significantly depending on the calibration/filament/temperature/etc. Use at your own risk**
Includes:
- 100mm, 60mm, 40mm, and 20mm pinches
- 20mm, 16mm, 14mm, and 10mm edges
- Mono pocket
- Sloper
Requires:
- Super Glue or other suitable adhesive
- 8mm or smaller rope
- Weights (to lift)
- Clamp or hammer (optional)
Designed to be printed in two halves with perpendicular layer directions and glued together to optimize strength and avoid any tension loading normal to the layers. The bottom half extends through most of the top half as reinforcement. The textured model uses fuzzy skin for additional grip (0.3mm distance, 0.5mm thickness). The fuzzy skin adds a significant amount of time to the print so I've also included a “No-Tex” profile for faster printing.
Assembly:
- Clean up any supports, strings, or droopy bridges
- Partially test fit the pieces together to ensure no major interference. Do not fully insert as it is very difficult to separate them even without glue.
- Apply a liberal amount of glue, especially on the slim extensions of the lower half and the internal slots of the upper half.
- Push the halves together. They are a tight fit since the extensions on the lower half flex as they are inserted into the slots on the upper half. You may need to hammer or clamp them together to get them fully assembled.
- Insert a rope through the small hole (not the Mono pocket) and tie together in a loop/eyelet.
- Attach weights to the rope eyelet and start training!
