Modelo 3D AMS Riser With Lights por TopherPrints no MakerWorld

Descrição

This is a Riser designed for the P1S and should also be compatible with the X1C. It has integrated cable routing for cables up to .125" (.05 mm) Dia helping to eliminate the extra cable that comes standard on the USB adhesive light Strips. The cable is a tight fit into the trough to prevent the cable from falling out during printing. The back end of a screwdriver worked great for pressing it into place. The cable trough circles the entire assembly and routes into the ring on each corner allowing ample space to house any extra cable between the USB outlet and the start of the lights.

The riser was broken into 4 pieces that can be paired up and printed on 2 plates with supports only on the overhanging ledge, no supports are needed for the cable trough. The joints between the parts area press fit dovetail requiring no hardware or glue. A small pair of clamps was used to squeeze parts together. Once all 4 pieces were put together the model was very robust and stiff.

The mounting for the lights is angles slightly downward to focus the light more directly into the build chamber opposed to many other models found online where the light ring is 90 degrees to the build chamber. This angle results in a slight bit of buckling on the adhesive strip lights but this was fairly easy to work out using a bit of firm pressure for a few seconds.
