UPDATED - Added some cutaways and training identifications. Tweaked the pins a little but they're still a little rough, they're not meant to last anyway though. I mostly just use the straight pin and bend the end down.
A simple replica of the IWA M12/M13 flashbangs for training purposes. I wanted something I could use when training to develop a little muscle memory and it's kind of fun to toss around the house. Its a simple print with no articulating parts, no lug, no spring or fly away lever. The handle can be compressed over and over with PETG (I haven't printed one with PLA yet). I added a support to prevent breakage at the pivot point. It weighs about the same as the IWA bangs too when printed with 15% infill.
The safety pin/ring sets are designed to be a 1-time use consumable. Connect the ring to a pin and superglue the ring ends so it wont separate from the pin when pulled. I made two different pins to see which works best and they both work ok so I kept them both in the model. The straight pin is held with friction due to size (you can also bend the end of the pins to hold them in place) the other uses a design similar to the IWA pin but I'm just not clever enough to make anything too complex. The pins aren't meant to last so just pull and drop them, then replace with a new set. The pin hole size should also work with the metal IWA pins. Or just drill it to fit whichever pin/ring set you'd like to use/make.
It's fun to toss around, just don't expect it to last forever, it bangs up pretty easy and I've broken a few levers throwing them on concrete. I'll probably keep tweaking it here and there but its meant to be used and abused so it doesn't need to be a museum piece. Enjoy!
