A friend showed me an awesome caliper case that he designed. I was tempted just to print his files and call it good, but it used extra bits like screws, special foams, and metal rods. Instead, I made mine fully printable so that anyone could make it. In my model, you use filament strands for the hinges and clasps. I also have an optional use of TPU for extra protection.

Assembly

line up the holes in the hinges and stick a strand of filament through. Do the same for the bottom. You can also use a bit of super glue to keep it in place

Apply some super glue on the bottom of the nameplate and insert it in.
