Colorful Dragonfly

I absolutely love this little dragonfly. I say little, but it is just about life size. You can easily paint him in layers and get a wonderful pattern due to the extrusions and textures built into the design. The wings are a friction fit and will stay put as long as you are not using this like a toy. If you do want to handle it regularly, (I do all the time) then just a half a drop of CA glue in each hole will lock it in for good.

GLUING:

If you are glueing with CA glue (super glue), put in a half drop in a hole, then place the wing in the hole. Don't try to pre-load all of the holes with glue then place the wings. Once all the wings are placed, dry the dragonfly upside down so it is supported in the air by the front wings and tail. If not, you might end up gluing the dang thing to the table. Glue is optional, but recommended, for dragonflies that will be regularly handled.
